Even if you’ve finished the main story for Monster Hunter Wilds and sunk hours into the High Rank grind, the monster slaying doesn’t need to end anytime soon. According to developer Capcom, Monster Hunter Wilds will receive post-release support through a series of event quests and additional DLC.

Event quests can be a great opportunity to gather unique materials to upgrade armor and serve as ingredients to cook on the grill. However, you have to play the game at the right time to access them.

Monster Hunter Wilds event quests schedule

Generally speaking, Monster Hunter Wilds gets new event quests weekly. However, some quests run longer than others. For your reference, we’ve created a full calendar that covers every Monster Hunter Wilds event quest for March 2025. Each event runs until 4 p.m. PDT/7:00 p.m. EDT on the final day it’s scheduled.

Monster Hunter Wilds DLC roadmap

Capcom has announced two free updates for Monster Hunter Wilds. The first free game update will be released sometime in spring 2025 while the second is slated for summer 2025.

The spring update will add the monster Mizutsune, event quests, and other unspecified “additional updates,” according to a trailer released in February. The second update will add another monster and be released sometime in the summer, but Capcom hasn’t shared additional details at this time.

In addition to new monsters and some content, players can also expect new cosmetic items to be added to the game with each update. According to the official Monster Hunter Wilds website, the first cosmetic DLC pack will be released in spring 2025 and include a “number of cosmetics” like layered armor and pendants to customize your hunter.
